The
Tampa Bay Synchrays is a women's synchronized swim team in Tampa,
Florida sponsored, in part, by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
The club is made up of some forty girls from Tampa, Brandon, St.
Petersburg, and other areas encompassing the tri-county area.

Competition
levels range from novice and intermediate with competition beginning
in January and ending in June at the Sunshine State Games. The
Age Group Division trains all year and competes on a national
level commencing in Florida and throughout the South Zone of the
US qualifying for US Age Group Nationals held annually around
the country in June. This year some of the Senior girls will go
on to college and swim varsity synchro at University of Florida
and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
This year the Senior team won the South Zone Team Competition
March 11th in Dallas, Texas. This distinction placed Tampa Bay
Synchrays in the top 4 synchronized swim teams in the United States.
The win qualified the team for the prestigious international US
Open Competition in Honolulu, Hawaii July 17-22.
